Appropriations for special, revolving, and federal funds represent expenditure authorizations or ceilings approved by the Legislature for dedicated purposes. All of the University's Special and Revolving funds are individually established by statute. In general, these statutes identify the type of revenues that the University is authorized to retain and the nature of expenditures that may be incurred for each fund. A listing of each of the authorized funds and its purposes may be found here.

The graph below shows the revenue trends for each fund for the system and the individual campuses.
