To faculty and staff who work hard to broaden our students' horizons: There are international opportunities open to you as well! The Office of the Vice President for Community Colleges (OVPCC) encourages you to explore and grow and inspire your students to do the same. Here are some resources that provide opportunities to help invigorate you and your curriculum and activities with international flair. Association for Asian Studies Professional association for scholars and students interested in Asia
Community Colleges for International Development, Inc. (CCID) UHCC system is an active member of CCID. VPCC John Morton is on the CCID Board of Directors; Chancellor Leon Richards at Kapiolani Community College is the International Executive Director representing the UHCC.
East-West Center Adjacent to UH Manoa campus, the Center is an institution for public diplomacy in the Asia Pacific region that serves as a resource for information and analysis on critical issues of common concern, brings people together to exchange views, builds expertise, and develops policy options. It offers programs of cooperative study, training and research.
Institute of International Education Among the world's largest and most experienced international education and training organizations. It creates programs of study and training for students, educators and professionals from all sectors, including the flagship Fulbright Program and Gilman Scholarships.
