In addition to on-going research on the effectiveness of
remedial/developmental efforts in the classroom and with support systems, the White Paper Group has recommended that the UHCC examine current
policies and practices that may serve as barriers to student success. With students increasingly registering across campuses, the need is to
identify and align these policies, drawing on the best practices both within the system and from national data. Below are some of the major
policy changes that have either been enacted or are in discussion.
