Culinary Institute of the Pacific
The Culinary Institute of the Pacific is a network of five unique culinary education centers within the University of Hawai'i system, offering associate's
degrees and certificates in culinary arts leading to advanced-level training at the future Culinary Institute of the Pacific at Diamond Head.
The Diamond Head facility will soon break ground on the former site of the Cannon Club. The new facility comprises two laboratory buildings, a classroom
building, administrative/faculty offices, and a culinary amphitheatre in addition to a world-class restaurant designed to serve the public as well as a training
site for advanced culinary arts students.
In 1992, the University of Hawai'i Board of Regents established the University Centers to provide access to baccalaureate and graduate degrees and certificates
on the neighbor islands. These Centers, administered by their respective community colleges, offer UH system courses and programs at both the undergraduate and
graduate levels. University Center, MauiUniversity Center, Kaua'iUniversity Center, West Hawai'i
