Student Housing Options

As commuter campuses, only some community colleges offer on-campus student housing, such as Maui Community College and Hawai’i Community College. Maui Community College recently completed Kulanaa’o.

Hawai’i Community College shares its Hilo on-campus housing with the University of Hawai’i at Hilo.

For off-campus housing, the University of Hawai’i system offers an off-campus housing referral program for registered University of Hawai’i students including community college students.

Many students also find their own accommodations by perusing through the rental sections in the local newspapers, classified ads in other publications, and online apartment rental Websites.
