The UH Community Colleges is offering a scholarship to 2018 high school graduates who participated in dual credit programs, including early college and Running Start.

  • Eligible Students: More than 1,800 public high school graduates in the Class of 2018 who were enrolled in UH classes in Spring 2018 and/or previously earned dual credit at UH, including early college and Running Start programs.
  • Requirements for Scholarship: Eligible students must enroll in a UH community college and register for Fall 2018 classes (at least 6 credits) by June 30, 2018.
  • Scholarship Award: $100 scholarship to use toward books and school supplies for your UH community college classes.
Students who have already applied to UH community colleges should register for classes once they receive their acceptance notice.

Students who have not yet applied should contact a UH community college campus and ask about the "Early College Book Scholarship" to find out the best way to apply and register for Fall 2018 classes.

Students will receive confirmation of their scholarship award by mid-July and can start accessing their scholarships starting July 23.
