Are there deadlines?

You can join Ka’ie’ie at any time as long as you are eligible (see above for eligibility criteria). However, to transfer to UHM you must meet the following deadlines


For Fall entry, the deadline is February 1.

For Spring entry, the deadline is September 1.

You must apply to transfer during a regular semester, which means Fall or Spring, not summer. If you would like to attend a summer session at UHM, apply directly through UHM’s Outreach College. Attending UHM in summer will not affect your standing in this program and is not considered a transfer to UHM. Summer courses will, however, impact your GPA and may affect your eligibility.
