Why should I join?

• Every student who plans to earn a bachelor degree from UHM should join Ka’ie’ie. Listed below are some of the benefits you’ll receive as a Ka’ie’ie student.
• You will receive advising and guidance directly from your intended major department.
• Your advising and guidance at both campuses will focus on helping yougraduate as efficiently as possible.
• When you transfer to UHM, you will be able to register earlier, with the UHM continuing students, rather than as a transfer student just before classes start.
• You will be able to use all resources at both campuses, including libraries, tutoring and advising.
• You will be issued a special ID card that identifies you as a Ka’ie’ie student and grants you access to all of these privileges.
• If you are enrolled at only one campus but choose to pay both campuses’ student activity fees, you will also be able to attend cultural, athletic and academic events at both campuses - movies, lectures, concerts, plays, etc.
