Administration of Justice
Provides general academic knowledge, concepts and theory pertaining to the criminal justice system; meets the pre-service needs for careers in law enforcement, private security, courts or other fields related to administration of justice.

This program prepares you to care for patients in a skilled long-term care facility, home care, or hospital care settings. You will learn about diseases, preparation of special diets, following through with existing therapies and behavioral management. The Cosmetology program is part of an international member school system that teaches the technique known as Pivot Point, a training method that revolutionized hair and beauty education. This training offers you the highest degree of manipulative skills and theory that meet the standards and requirements of the State Board of Cosmetology and prepare you for a career in the world of hair and beauty. This knowledge and ability is achieved first through lecture and demonstration, followed by actual work in a salon setting. The Cosmetology program prepares you for the State Board of Cosmetology Examination. Upon passing the examination, you will become a licensed cosmetologist.

Early Childhood Education
Early Childhood Education is a field with many employment opportunities. The certificate programs allow you to enter the field usually at the assistant level, preparing you for employment as a child care worker, family child care provider, nanny, home visitor, parent educator, special education assistant or supervisor, and director of private early childhood programs. The Associate in Science degree program prepares you for immediate employment as teachers in private early childhood programs for infants and toddlers or preschoolers. This program meets the requirement for employment as a teacher, lead caregiver, teacher-director, or director of a private preschool in programs licensed by the State Department of Human Services, and prepares you for further education at a four-year university.

Over four semesters and one summer intensive, you will learn to become interpreters for the State of Hawai‘i Department of Education to work with individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing in K-12 classrooms.
