Degree Pathway Partnerships
UH Community Colleges have formed degree pathway partnerships with various universities to help you start your four-year degree at the community colleges.
These partnerships not only saves you money in tuition cost, but it allows you to transition easily from community colleges to the four-year partner institution while continuing your educational pathway in your chosen field of study.
Although Kapi’olani Community College is at the forefront of developing degree pathways in partnership with UH Hilo, UH West O‘ahu and UH Manoa, all seven campuses are working to partner up with four-year institutions here in Hawai‘i and on the U.S. mainland. Since each partnership is unique, we recommend that you contact an academic advisor for a list of partner institutions at the community college of your choice.

University Centers
The University Centers on Maui, Kaua’i and Hawai’i allow you to earn a bachelor’s or master’s degree without leaving your island home. These centers, administered by the community colleges on the respective islands, provide local residents access to certificates, baccalaureate and graduate degrees offered at UH Manoa, UH Hilo or UH West O’ahu.
