Free UHCC summer classes for the High School Class of 2020

Hawai'i public high school graduates are invited to Next Steps: Career Exploration classes at one of the University of Hawai'i Community Colleges this summer.

This free, online class begins soon. Sign up by May 28 for the next class beginning on June 8.

This opportunity is exclusively for the Class of 2020 Hawai'i public high school graduates.

In this class, high school graduates can explore their career options and discover the education and training needed to reach their goals. Participating students will earn credit toward a college degree and may have opportunities to earn additional scholarships.

Classes Are FREE

UH Community Colleges are offering classes Next Steps: Career Exploration classes for Class of 2020 high school graduates. The next class begins on June 8.

Most classes are based on a career field so that students can meet others with the same interests and learn about careers in different fields, such as business, health, theatre, social work, and sustainability. High school graduates will explore their interests, career options and the education and training needed to reach their goals.

Next Step: Career Exploration classes build a foundation for future success whether graduates take the next step to college, work or military.

Students who complete the class successfully will earn credit toward a college degree and may have opportunities for additional scholarships.
