Proposal Development
The UHCC Grants Office provides direct support for multi-campus proposals. This includes:
- Strategic planning – If your campus has a need (for a program, equipment, or even a new building) our office can help develop a “Roadmap” to get it funded
- Partnership development – We can assist campuses in finding external partners or link an external organization to projects within the UH Community College campuses
- Proposal development management – We can lead a project or assist a campus in setting up proposal development management, recommend collaborative and planning tools, etc.
- Proposal review – If a project is already in development, our office can review and provide suggestions for improving
- Writing/editing – If a project needs a lead writer or an editor, our office can provide assistance at different levels and stages
- Budget development – If a team needs assistance in developing or reviewing a project budget, our office can provide assistance, as well as provide technical assistance for answering common questions that arise, such as how to decide between using UH or RCUH personnel, finding current fringe rates, determining whether an expense is allowable under the funder’s guidance, etc.
