Culinary Institute of the Pacific

Introducing the Culinary Institute of the Pacific, the University of Hawai'i Community College System's pathway to excellent professional culinary education. The facility will be accessible to System students working toward associate degrees and certificates in culinary arts, baking and pastry arts, or third-year professional certificate in culinary arts.

In partnership with the University of Hawai'i - West O'ahu, a new four-year bachelor of applied science degree in culinary arts with a concentration in culinary management will be offered at the Culinary Institute of the Pacific at Diamond Head upon completion. The new facility will be located across from the Culinary Institute of the Pacific flagship campus and the Diamond Head facility administrator, Kapi'olani Community College.

In partnership with the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, the Diamond Head facility will also offer the bachelor of science degree in food science and human nutrition with a culinology track.

And, as part of the Culinary Institute of the Pacific's mission, short-term advanced professional courses will continue to be offered to working professionals to help them keep their culinary and business skills sharp in advancing Hawai'i's culinary excellence here and around the world.
