Working closely with the campus coordinators, administrators, faculty and staff, the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action (EEO/AA) provides institutional leadership on promoting the Community College's commitment to a respectful and diverse working and learning environment. The Office provides a full range of services that promotes the values of equality and diversity and insures the that campuses are in compliance with applicable federal and state laws, executive orders, and university and campus policies and procedures pertaining to equal opportunity and affirmative action.
The Office coordinates and facilitates various training programs, such as ADA compliance training, sexual harassment or discrimination workshops and other faculty/staff training. It also manages the affirmative action program at UHCC, working closely with campus representatives on issues such as disability reasonable accommodations requests.
