Supporting Ourselves and Our Students in Times of Stress and Change

This presentation will offer a brief framework for understanding the mental health spectrum, how we are impacted by external and internal factors, ways to normalize resource seeking and creating safe spaces. We will discuss the importance of trauma informed mindset, people first languaging, and the maintenance of compassion. Time will be spent learning early identification of warning signs and how to address when we, our peers, family, or students aren't okay. Crisis resources will be shared.
