Executive / Managerial

Executive and managerial positions (1) have system-wide, campus-wide, or major campus program responsibilities and report directly to the Board, President, or Chancellor, (2) report directly to executives and head major organizational segments of the University, or (3) serve as high level executive assistants (RP 9.212).

Within the UH Community Colleges, positions that fall under the Executive/Managerial classification include positions such as Vice President, Associate Vice President, Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, Dean, Assistant Dean, Director, Academic Affairs Program Officer, Institutional Research and Analysis Program Officer and Assistant to Senior Executive.

Personnel in this classification are governed by the Executive and Managerial Personnel Policy, RP 9.212 of the Board of Regents Policies and Bylaws
