Environmental Health and Safety
The Environmental Health and Safety office works to develop a safe campus environment through the development and administration of health and safety programs, critical to the well-being of the UHCC communities. Our motto is to “Manage Safety through Cooperation.”
We provide occupational health and safety guidance in areas related to the safe handling of hazardous materials and hazardous waste disposal; asbestos and lead management; improving indoor air quality; mold mitigation; laboratory safety; fire safety; and storm/waste water discharge permitting.
To report a possible environmental health issue or concern, contact your campus Vice Chancellor for Administrative Services for assistance.
