Office of Compliance, EEO/AA, and Title IX

The Office of Compliance, EEO/AA, and Title IX (CCTIXO) plays a key role in promoting safety, diversity, equity, and inclusion at the University of Hawai’i Community Colleges.

CCTIXO collaborates with a wide range of University partners—including the Office of Equity Assurance, Title IX Coordinators, Human Resources, Equal Employment Opportunity Coordinators, and UH leadership—to prevent and respond to discrimination, harassment, violence, and other misconduct. This collaboration supports a system-wide, multilevel approach to ensuring equal access to education, programs, and services, as well as compliance with applicable federal and state laws and University policies.

Consistent with this mission, CCTIXO provides a full range of services, such as supporting investigations into alleged misconduct that may violate University policy; facilitating education, awareness, and prevention programming; and, assisting University administrators in compliance matters.
